I have always found the way the body connects with and supports itself to be fascinating.
At an important juncture in my life a friend suggested I apply to massage school. Within two weeks I was in the classroom. I fell even more in love with the body and how to affect change in it.
I graduated from Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin in March 2019. I jumped right in to offering mobile massage while working as a tutor and teaching assistant at the same massage school. I have been offering mat massage since 2021 and have fully transitioned to mat bodywork because I see the benefits of the work and how it elevates the effects for my clients!
The importance of the interplay of the muscular and nervous systems is always in my mind during massage. Applied knowledge and nurturing touch allows me to interact with both to relieve discomfort in the body and bring peace to the mind. In today's busy and isolated world, skilled compassionate touch is an important component in the ongoing maintenance of life.
Outside of massage you can often find me on a hiking trail with my husky mix Diana or playing board games with my amazing family.
